Federal Government Declares Free Train Rides

The Federal Government through the Ministry of Transport has declared free train rides throughout the yuletide season (24th December 2021 – 4th January, 2022).

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Railway Corporation Managing Director, Fidet Okhiria.
He stated that the free train ride is to help ease the movement of citizens and the cost of transportation.
He, therefore, urged travellers who intend to use the train service to purchase tickets at no cost at the different train stations around the country.
