I started collecting records at the age of 12 and by then, i knew that music will play a major part in my life. I used to listen to a lot of radio when growing up and was always fascinated by the voices i heard on the other side of the radio. Then the late McArther Fom aka Nosa of Behind the Clouds’’ TV series then, pushed me by telling me i have a unique voice for radio. Jos in Plateau State was where it all began.
I have interviewed some of the world most popular artists like George Benson, Najee, Gerald Albright, 112, Deborah Cox, Next, Tyrese, Jennifer Lopez, Chaka Khan, Jonathan Butler, Bluey of Incognito, Eliane Elias, Marcus Miller, Lee Oskar, Peabo Bryson and the list goes on.
I love rollerblading, movies and travel and i attend the yearly Cape Town International Jazz Festival and the Joy of Jazz Festival in South Africa.
I am also is the founder of Soul Conversations Lagos, Jazz in the Park and The Lagos Wine and Jazz Series.
