Mid-Morning Soul
A music-based show that mirrors soul genres from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the present.
#MotownMonday is a look at the Motown sound and the artists that made the sound so famous that we still play them today. There is also a historical look in form of some commentary and information that listeners will be fed to educate them on the advent of the Motown Sound, The founder, Artists, etc. Motown Mondays is one hour of Soulful Music from back in the days featuring Motown Pioneers like Michale Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, and so on.
On Tuesdays, the element that would catch your attention is the Office Journal (10 mins from 11am) which is an avenue for those in the office who are already enjoying the music to share things going on in the office while issues like changing jobs, going for promotions, getting optimum input from staff as per levels of work done in the office. People working in the office will be encouraged to send their own office happenings or stories to encourage people in other offices.
Strictly Soul on a Wednesday has a different element called Smooth Side of Life, which takes a look at celebrities and other guests on their life and what makes them tick or for a better word smooth.
The Thursday edition of Strictly Soul has an interesting element in the show called Film Focus, which is a candid take on movies premiering at the weekend. Nollywood Thursdays is also a sub element of Film Focus where Nollywood Producers come and talk about their movies that is about to hit the silver screens.
The Friday edition of Strictly Soul is the feel-good edition, which is interspersed with interviews, game shows and entertainment news apart from the over riding factor that it is music based.
