TMZ reports that Lifetime’s forthcoming Wendy Williams biopic will cover ages 10 to 55, spanning topics like her coke habit, fat-shaming from her family, and an untold story of date rape by a chart-topping artist.
Lifetime sources also reveal that the biopic will include her experiences with racism and sexism in Hollywood and details about her marriage and divorce from Kevin Hunter.
In January, news surfaced that Williams’ husband had allegedly gotten his mistress pregnant. She subsequently took a break from her talk show for two months, but said the reason was due to health complications. She resumed her show in March, and not long after, announced her divorce from Hunter. The two married in 1997 and had one son, Kevin Hunter Jr.
Just Wendy is set to air next year on Lifetime.
